Credit and Money Empowerment: Chapter 3: Get your mind right.
Get your mind right.
In your lifetime, there should only be 3-4 things you finance.
1. College Tuition if your Blessed to obtain a college education. College Debt is good debt if you achieve after it.
2. A Home
3. Any Emergencies that come by your way that you can’t pay for cash
4. The sky is the limit.
In your lifetime, you should never finance (over 30 days):
1. Clothing/ electronics/ things you want, not need
2. A Car or any other motor vehicle UNLESS it Appreciates. (Wow lets think about that)
3. What ever you can’t afford and you don’t need.
You must decipher what you want and what you need. Don’t fall for the trap. Do NOT buy what you can’t afford. Do not buy what you don’t need if you can’t afford it. If you can’t get that in your head, just give up and fail in life. (Ok you wont fail, that was harsh)
Now I mentioned to never to finance a car. Why would you finance a car?
What is your reason to do it?
I know, I know… It’s what your supposed to do. I know, its what everybody does.
No its really because you don’t have 20g’s to purchase it. So you put 5 g’s down that you saved up and finance the 15g’s over 3-5 years correct?
Your not alone, millions don’t have that money.
So what are you supposed to do?
My suggestion: Don’t buy the car.
I’m very serious. You do not buy the car you can’t afford. If you can’t pay in cash, you don’t buy. BUY WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD.
Reasons why? A car note is a liability. That means you are in DEBT. Your Debt to equity ratio goes up. You credit score goes down. It takes longer to build it.
Now how many people drop 20g’s on a car. It sounds ridiculous. twenty GRAND!
Now here is my explanation:
You buy a 20g car that only cost the company 10G to make.
After financing it over 3 years, you really have paid 25grand.
But when you drive it off the lot, its only worth 17grand.
Why pay 25grand for a 17grand car that cost really 10. Now I know that many people obviously cant afford it, but let me ask you. For those that can plan out their life in a new direction, what is the difference between buying my car now and financing it now, and just holding on to my money and buying it when I have the cash? The only difference is that you don’t have the car now. Then again, do you really need that 20G car, or can you just drive a beeter for a year or 2 longer. The beater is proudly built ford tough and will surely last.
Do what you want, but by the time you finish paying off your car, you spend more then you originally wanted to for a car that is now worth 12Gs Blue book value on a sunny day. And then we go back to the main point of you spending money that you didn’t have. Yes you are. It’s a LOAN. It affects your CREDIT. And to add insult to injury, your not financing 20g’s anymore, your financing 25 because of interest. Which by the way, for your car payments, the first few months to a year will solely be interest. So ask your self, why spend more money when you never did have the money and affect your credit score at the same time.
And Don’t fall for those Zero Percent APR. That’s nonsense. Nothing is free. There is never a free loan that we can get. Of course there are free loans that are taken out from us daily.
Get your mind right. Think out side the box if your privileged to take a new route.
If you can’t do what I stated, get your self a beeter, and work your way up. Don’t fall for the trap.

Credit and Money Empowerment: Chapter 2: Leave me the F* Alone
Leave me the F* Alone.
(Credit Card Opt Out)
Many of yal can relate to this situation: You come home either from
work or school (its usually at your primary residence on your credit
report) and you have a credit card offer. You look at it and you say
to your self "Man I don't want this Bullshit"
So what do you usually do? You rip it up and forget about it.
What else are you supposed to do?
The “man” wants us to do that. They want us to be ignorant and not
investigate. Those letters and credit companies are like Roaches.
You just can’t kill one roach and expect the problem to go away. You
have to go to the source and solve the problem. Or they will keep
coming back. The man expects all of us to not do this though.
So if we took a minute out of our life and actually read the
application instead of instantly ripping it up, you would notice that
there is a way to opt out of those applications.
The issue with these cards is that they come pre approved. In order to
have something delivered that is pre-approved, they must do a
preliminary check of your credit history.
There are 2 ways to check your credit and they are classified as “Pulls”
You have a soft pull and a hard Pull. A user can pull their own credit report as many times as they want with no consequences. If company pulls your credit report, they are doing a hard pull. They have access to all your information and it is all documented.
Now when someone does that, they pull records from the 3 bureaus. Equifax, Experian and Transunion. When ever a creditor request a credit history, those bureaus document
that request. The more request, the more it affects your credit. You think I’m lying?
When you check your credit score again, look at how many request were made and how many you can recognize and justify.
Now lets be real, many people have rough credit or credit they would
love to improve. At lease let "you" be the one to mess it up. Not some other person you
will never meet.
Also to add insult to injury, we all know that almost 40 million people a year get affected with credit fraud. During the 3rd week of July 2008, I was affected my self. Someone opened a card in my name. It's easy to have it happen to you also.
How so? Who do you think has your social security numbers and addresses?
Those creditors.
And like at ever job, there are always dirty people…
Of course that is only one example of how it can happen.
So the purpose of this note is to send a link with a way to opt out
of it. It will only take a few minutes of your life to opt out for 5
years, and a stamp and letter to permanently opt out. For those that
read this message and feel that it's worth the investment, I recommend
doing it now, because tomorrow someone might do a credit request on
your account.
Its clearly evident that I don't know everything in the world or that
I'm not a master at credit. The knowledge I do know though, I will
share, especially if it will help someone else.

Credit Empowerment
Chapter 1. Where Do I Start?
Hello to everybody that reads this. My objective is to inform people of how to build their credit. What is the purpose? Well credit is one of the most important “facts/ statistic” about an individual in the buying world. Just like in the street, you have credibility, or at your job or with the ladies/males. What ever it is, it all goes back to credit.
Now I’m not trying to write a novel. These write ups will be long. If you choose to not read them, I honestly wont care. I Do know that someone will read this and it will open their eye about the reality of things.
So first of all, where do you start? Well you first must determine where you stand. Every detail is going to be from my point of view. Take what you want, but I will tell you that my credit is excellent and I did it in 6 months. Add another 2 years on top of that and what do you think I’m working with now?
So the first step is to discover where you stand: answer these questions first…
Do you have a credit card? Do you owe anything on it? Have you ever owned anything on it and paid it off in installments.
Do you have Any College Loans? Are they Deferred?
Do you have a car note?
Is collections after you?
Have you ever checked your credit score? All 3? How often.
First take some time out of your life and think about these. All these will affect your credit. I will be very direct with these things.
Credit cards will hurt you if you don’t know how to use them. I went from Zero to excellent with it.
College loans will not hurt you directly.
Car notes are poison.
Collections is Cancer.
If you haven’t checked your score yet, you’re a fool. Do it asap
I intend to have numerous chapters of my write ups. Buy the end, you will be ready to build or rebuild.
